Go Green and Grow Together
Over the course of their existence, our projects have made a profound impact by empowering more than 5,000 women with a comprehensive curriculum encompassing over 200 hours of coding education. This initiative extends beyond just skill development; it’s about fostering a community and providing opportunities for marginalized communities – with our focus being women, disabled individuals and underprivileged youth – to have a hand in the tech industry.
Moreover, we take great pride in our commitment to environmental sustainability while doing all. By harnessing the power of virtual learning platforms, we have significantly reduced carbon footprints associated with traditional educational methods, thereby minimizing the need for physical travel and its associated environmental impact.
As the EE community, we are fully aware of the threatening climate crisis and do our best to tackle the pressing issue. Environmental struggles matter the most when it comes to fighting for the next generation of learners and trailblazers. We are avidly raising awareness on the importance of integrating green skills in the STEM fields and spreading our virtue of advocacy in terms of sustainability, just as much as equity.
“Green Innovators Unite” serves as a powerful catalyst in connecting aspiring entrepreneurs with seasoned pioneers in the climate-focused fields. Through a series of engaging virtual seminars and mentorship programs, we have successfully reached out to and engaged a thriving community of 3,100+ participants. This community is dedicated to fostering the growth of eco-conscious leaders who possess the knowledge and determination to make a lasting impact in the realms of sustainable technology and climate advocacy.
Another EE x Green project, “Climate-Oriented-Programming (COP)” aims to fulfill the youth’s duty, in a world where it has become essential to harness technology’s power for the betterment of our planet. The COP project is designed to empower the younger generation with the knowledge and tools they need to embrace the urgent call to action articulated by climate activists around the world. We provide a platform where young minds can explore the intersections of technology and sustainability, delving into various aspects of tech, from software development and data analysis to hardware design and energy efficiency. Our goal is to help the next generation of tech enthusiasts understand that they have the power to drive change and innovation in the industry. By integrating sustainable practices into technology, we can create a more harmonious coexistence between humans and the planet.
